Terms and Conditions
- California Education Alliance does not warrant or assume any
legal liability or responsibility for the accuracy, completeness,
or usefulness of any information or product represented on this
site.
- California Education Alliance will have full rights for editing
and rewriting of submitted texts as necessary. California Education
Alliance reserves the right to not display or post any submissions
we deem inappropriate or unacceptable. By submitting material
to California Education Alliance, you agree that we can may display,
modify, transmit, or distribute your submission without needing
prior or further consent from you.
- Authors who submit their texts to us grant California Education
Alliance irrevocable worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive rights
to reproduce and distribute their submitted material in printed
form or by any other medium, and forego any payment or compensation
for the submitted material.
- You retain your copyright interest as owner and/or author of
your submissions and you retain all other proprietary rights in
and to such submissions.
- Acceptance of submissions will be based on appropriateness of
subject matter, clarity, and adherence to standard conventions
of the English language. Preference will be given to submissions
that are education-related, concise, focused, innovative, fresh,
and well-researched.
- Submissions that are feature articles should be limited to 500
to 1,800 words.
- Photographs may be submitted with an article. All photographs
and images must be provided in JPEG format with appropriate credit
and caption information. California Education Alliance will also
be granted irrevocable worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive
rights to reproduce and distribute the photograph. Photographs
should be emailed to California Education Alliance's web
site administrator. Please do not submit more than one image
per 500 words and no more than five in one submission. Images
should not exceed 150 kb in size and the longest side should not
exceed 500 pixels in length.
- When you provide submissions to us, you represent and warrant
that: (i) you are the author of the submission and/or you own
the copyright and/or you have authority from the author or authors
to grant us the rights and licenses set above; and (ii) the submission
is a work original to the author (unless identified by you as
containing original works of third parties) and that such submission,
including all third party works of authorship, does not infringe
any copyright, trademark, tradename (or knowingly infringe any
patent or any other proprietary right) of any third party.
- California Education Alliance reserves the right to modify these
Terms and Conditions at any time without prior warning.
